Pastoral search

Shiloh Baptist Church is seeking an experienced pastor who is knowledgeable of and faithful to the Scriptures and has a gift to preach, teach, and equip the church for evangelism, discipleship, and service. The pastor must be a devoted follower of Christ and be living a life that aligns with the church’s statement of faith and that demonstrates faith in God, a strong commitment to Christ, the leading of the Holy Spirit, and the authority of the Scripture.

As the church moves forward, the Pastor must be willing to engage in a “shared vision” process with the church body.

All interested persons must submit an initial candidate’s packet to include the following documents:

• Cover letter expressing your reason for applying for the position
• Current resume
• Completed application
• Copies of degrees, ministerial and ordination certificate
• Four references (two clergy and two lay/person) with contact information to include the email and phone number

PLEASE NOTE: The Pastoral Search Committee will confirm all submitted packets. We are extending the application deadline from August 31st to September 30th, giving applicants additional time to pray, review, and consider this opportunity. Again, to be considered, all application packets must be postmarked by September 30, 2026.

Incomplete packets will not be considered. Once submitted, all copies of the application materials become the property of the Pastoral Search Committee and will not be returned. All information submitted will be treated as confidential. If said candidate is not being interviewed for the position, all information received will be shredded.
